356 organisations from 95 countries have signed on to the Coalition statement asking for an effective, transparent, accountable and inclusive mechanism to monitor progress in the implementation of the UN Convention against Corruption.
The Statement was submitted to the 3.Conference of States Parties meeting in Doha, from November 9-13. Over 50 civil society organisations were present in Doha, where they conveyed the message to the delegates that transparency, inclusiveness and accountability are essential if the international community wants to fulfil its committments to fight against corruption.
